Rotate text a specified number of degrees.
Instead of the usual left-to-right or right-to-left orientation of text, you might want to spice things up a bit by rotating text to appear vertically. Vertical text is especially useful in table headings where the heading is long but the cell contents are brief. A vertical heading saves space. Consider Figure 1.
The column heading in the second column is much wider than the actual column contents. Look how much space you’d save if you rotated that column header, like in the third column.
