This chapter discusses the varied skills and experiences needed to be able to perform in the trying times faced by boards under complex global conditions.
7.1 Varied Talent
As business becomes more complex and competitive, it is important for board members to have a variety of skills and expertise. This could be functional, industry specific, or specialized expertise (Table 7.1).
