Sharing the wealth: other library departments diversity initiatives

Abstract:

This chapter discusses projects developed by staff other than University Library’s Diversity Council and Undergraduate Diversity Scholars. These are endeavors that librarians in a wide variety of academic libraries, including those with small staffs that will not sustain a separate diversity council or committee, may adjust to fit their own needs and circumstances. The chapter concludes with important questions to consider when planning diversity projects.
