Running the Example

Running the Legacy SOA Integration application in a web browser for the first time in front of users who have been dealing with green screens for years or decades is typically an awe inspiring event. They are usually more than happy to get rid of their difficult to view, bulky 3270 terminal. They also cannot believe the rich graphics and colors presented in the browser. IT personnel, both mainframe and open systems staff, are typically amazed that the mainframe and relational database worlds with so little development effort can co-exist.
