Application-controlled sysobjects

Some business environments require certain documents or sysobjects to be manipulated only through approved client applications. Content Server supports application-level control of sysobjects, which enables client applications to "own" particular objects and restricts unapproved client applications from modifying these objects. Application-level control provides a restriction on top of the usual object security described earlier in this chapter and applies regardless of repository security. It is enforced for all users except superusers.
