Adding Recovery Information to Certifier IDs

Now that you have registered some administrative users (at least), you can set up ID and password recovery. New in Release 5, this feature automates the recovery of lost IDs and rehabilitation of IDs whose owners have forgotten their passwords. Under earlier versions of Domino/Notes you can replace an ID with an archive copy of it. But that isn't an ideal solution to the problem because the archive copy would most likely not reflect changes that had taken place in the ID over time—recertifications, addition of encryption keys, name changes, and the like.
