Replacing the Welcome Screen
Change is not always welcome. Requiring experienced Notes users to learn the new interface may take prompting. Experienced users, and corporations alike, bemoan the loss of time necessary to learn how to use the Welcome page. If you want to ease users into the idea, it is possible to present the R4 style workspace instead. Be aware, however that Lotus has not guaranteed the inclusion of the R4 style interface in subsequent releases of the Notes client.
