Many people believe that drawing the human face is difficult, but it’s really only a matter of proportion and properly placing the features. The lines and forms involved are the same simple curves and basic shapes that you’ve used up to now. The easiest way to learn to draw people is to start with individual features such as the eyes and mouth. Remember to draw from a photo or a live model. A reference makes rendering the head much easier!
