EXPRESSIVE LINES INTERSECT TO CREATE NEGATIVE SPACE. THEN THE NEGATIVE SPACE IS FILLED WITH SIMPLE OR DECORATIVE MARKS. THIS EXERCISE MAY ALSO BE DONE WITH A BRUSH AND PAINT FOR A DIFFERENT LOOK.
MATERIALS
Newspaper or large craft paper
White paint pen in a variety of tip sizes
Black or tan craft paper or heavy cardstock
1. Cover your painting space with newspaper or large craft paper.
