40 Getting Adjusted to New Production

I remember those exciting days when we started on a new picture.All the previous production’s model sheets and inspirational material was put aside,and we began to gather research for the next film.We ordered books from the library,delved into our personal morgue,and shared our findings with each other.It was (and is) a necessary transitional period of gathering material pertinent to the new project.Footage on animals, birds,and humans;or new footage shot if none was available.The film was practically worn out from running it over and over,studying it sometimes frame by frame. Helpful studies were copied and distributed to other artists.It was a period of changeover — a new way of thinking.
