Tales of Opposing Goals

Goals are fundamental for a Scrum Team to function and deliver products of the highest possible value. Before we explore the specific role of Product Goals and Sprint Goals in Scrum, let’s take a step back and discuss why goals matter in general. Goals have more to offer than simply helping to counter friction, deal with surprises, and start with humble plans.
What happens to a team when the members don’t share any common goals? What happens to that same team when you do provide a common goal? I will answer all these questions by sharing some stories from my personal experience.
