Drupal comes with two predefined Node Content types: Story and Page. Let's begin by working with a Story.
Although Drupal only provides two Node Content types, it is easy to define new ones, such as News and Blog. A reason for doing this is that different types of site users can be given the ability to create certain Node Content types but not others.
Drupal defines a Story as being:
"ideal for creating and displaying content that informs or engages web site [sic] visitor"
The definition mentioned above isn't really a precise definition. This is because if we accept it, then we can infer that the other Node Content type must be the one that bores the life out of visitors!
