Prep Work

Just like painting the inside of your house, where taping off trim and covering furniture is just as important as the painting itself, prep work is key when it comes to assembling your computer parts. In fact, it's the first thing you do. Prepping the case involves removing all door covers, all slot covers in the back of the case, the drive bays, the hard drive cage, the back-plate, and anything else that is inside your case. The goal is to have a stripped down case that you can build upon.
