Setting Up the BIOS

You can always turn off your system by pressing the power button for about five seconds, and then you can reenter the BIOS by pressing the Delete key as the computer powers up. This is a good thing to know for the future—you may need it. When you're navigating the BIOS menu, you use the arrow keys, the Tab key, or the Scroll key to move the highlighted cursor up, down, left, and right. The + (plus) and – (minus) keys allow you to select some settings. To select a menu item, use the Enter key, and to back out of a menu, use the Esc key.
