Installing Windows XP Home Edition

The BIOS is nice, but it's no Windows. In order for your computer to operate, it needs an operating system. Windows XP Home Edition is the popular choice for most home PC users. Even without any other software installed, this operating system gives you a basic bundle of applications that allows you to configure an Internet and/or email account, write plain text in Notepad, burn CDs, chat via Windows Messenger, and play music CDs. It even includes a couple of basic games, such as Solitaire and FreeCell.
