Tools & Materials
The materials that you choose make a huge difference in the results of your drawing. You can have two completely different drawings if you just change one single pen, for example. Knowing which materials you are going to choose for each drawing and how to be creative with materials is an ability that every artist should cultivate.
In this chapter, I’m going to go through my favorite materials for traditional and digital art, and I will explain a little bit of how I use each material or tool for the results I want. However, don’t forget to always be creative, experimenting with materials you already have and exploring textures and pencils to create many different art pieces.
