Chapter 7. Working with Traditional Desktop Apps
As you learned in Chapter 6, “Working with Windows 8 Apps,” there are lots of newer apps designed to work specifically with the Windows 8’s new interface. But lots of older software programs that you might find useful are still available, such as Microsoft Word, Adobe Photoshop Elements, and even Apple’s iTunes. You need to learn how these traditional software programs work.
