Chapter 4. Working with PowerPoint Text

The most common type of slide object you work with in PowerPoint is the text object. Text objects, which are simply boxes for holding text, contain the information you want to convey to your audience. Slide text includes titles, subtitles, and body text. Body text typically takes the form of bulleted lists, but can also be paragraphs of text.

You can work with PowerPoint text in much the same way you work with text in other programs, such as Microsoft Word. You select text to perform edits on it, such as changing the text font and size, or making the text bold.
