Chapter 4. Working With Your Folders
Folders enable you to store different types of files (such as documents, music, photos, videos, and others) in different locations. However, if you have files of a particular type in more than one location, it would be great to have a way to see the contents of all the folders containing the same type of file at the same time. That’s the advantage of Windows 7’s new libraries feature.
Libraries can display all the local hard disk and network folders that contain any particular content type. This chapter shows you how to use libraries as well as other folder features.
