Styling applications is a complex topic with many aspects. In this chapter, we've already been using the Chrome developer tools inspector feature to examine our CSS. This and the similar developer tools for other browsers are a near necessity when styling applications.
Most of the time in Chrome, we can right-click on our page and choose Inspect element as we have been doing; however, sometimes you cannot. The Custom tab of the
StylingApps example includes a page with an editable grid. We cannot right-click on the editable grid as row selection is managed by Dojo, and the normal techniques will not work. To inspect these elements, we need a different approach.
