Summary

In this chapter, we looked at styling WaveMaker applications. We learned how CSS is applied in WaveMaker applications. We looked at the tools WaveMaker provides for styling applications. The three main areas in Studio for styling are the Style properties tab, and the Themes and CSS tabs under Source. In the Style properties tab, we styled widgets and created classes from those styles. In the CSS source tab, we created custom classes to style widgets. We also looked at the 6.5 theme designer tool.

While creating our custom CSS class, we learned how useful the developer tools inspect feature can be. In our example, we used it to avoid needing to use !important in our declaration. We also took a quick sneak peek at the new theme designer ...
