Mixing HQL and live data

In our example HQL query, we selected specific fields from the customer object: company and city. Had we instead returned the full customer object using FROM Customer cust where cust.state = :state, our return type would have been the same entity type used by live data, com.custpurchasedb.data.Customer. When we return the table entity type, we are able to seamlessly use the results in a live form. A common use case for this is to populate a list or grid with the results from an HQL query returning table entity types.
