WAR/EAR

The simplest option for the list is also the most versatile and the recommended. Application Files (WAR/EAR) generates a web application archive (WAR) or enterprise archive (EAR) that you can deploy using any deployment method you would like. In short, this is the option to use when you want to deploy to anything other than directly to Cloud Foundry V1 or a Tomcat 6 manager application.
