Chapter 16. The Future of Ecommerce Analytics

The future of ecommerce analytics is bright and ever-changing. As you’ve read in this book there are a rich number of ecommerce subject areas and approaches to analysis. While the future will inevitably lead to the creation of new models and algorithms for advanced analysis, this chapter is more about ways of thinking about the production of ecommerce analysis. In that sense the list of what I see on the future roadmap for ecommerce is less framed by specifics on how to analyze this or that. Instead I present new and expand on existing themes, leitmotifs, concepts, and capabilities that will assist in infusing analytics across an ecommerce business.
