We are nearing the end of our story. In looking at this important discipline of financial management we have traveled a long road by identifying where we are, working out where we want to be, deciding on the best way to get there, and then looking to see if we actually made it. This happens continuously throughout the life of our organization in cycles of varying duration. The last question we must ask ourselves is this: Having experienced this journey and having reached our destination for this cycle, where do we want to go next?
