The last step in prototyping is to take a prototype and either translate it into an actual software product or service, or iterate it into the next refinement. Now you must plan, set expectations, and establish some ground rules before handing it off to others for deployment or further iteration. Step 11 gives you some guidance on a successful handoff, one in which the audience or customer will be adequately prepared and properly focused on design goals, rationale, and details.
