Acting area The area within a setting where action takes place.
Action line (imaginary line) An imaginary line connecting, two subjects. If shots from cameras on either side of this line are intercut, the direction of action and performers’ positions will be reversed (reverse cut).
Action props Articles (‘properties’) used specifically during performance; e.g. pipe, knitting, wallet, gun.
Actor A performer, usually in a dramatic role, portraying a particular character, and speaking, scripted dialogue.
Additive mixing Mixed in various proportions, the color primaries of light (red, green, blue) can produce all hues in the visible spectrum.
