The necessity of accurate models for design and analysis of the electrical machines has promoted the use of numerical models, based on Maxwell’s equations for determining electric and magnetic fields. Determination of analytical solution becomes difficult, due to complex geometrical machine structures and the nonlinearities in the magnetization curve of the motor steel laminations.
