ity among nanostructured carbon materials studied so far as anode. Specic
capacities of HMC and other previously reported carbon-based materials are
summarised with corresponding current density in Table 4.2.
Figure 4.6a shows the galvanostatic cycling behaviour at 100 mA g
−1
for
various carbon materials. HMC was found to be very stable up to 80 cycles
