As an extension of this study, Bonino etal. have studied the effect of
grinding on the performance of the HPB-pyrolysed carbon samples [60].
The SEM images of grinded HPB-pyrolysed carbon samples are shown in
Figure 7.47a and b. From their studies, it is found that 10 min of grinding
is effective for the capacity of about 2.3 Ah/g albeit with a gradual fall in
the initial cycles’ capacity to reach a roughly stable value of ~700 mAh/g
