Exploring External Layers

One of the most charming features of Poky is the flexibility of using external layers. In this chapter, we will examine why this is a vital capability and how we can take advantage of it. Powering flexibility with layers

Poky contains metadata spread over configuration definition files such as machine and distro files, classes, and recipes, covering everything from simple applications to full graphical stacks and frameworks.
