This pattern is inspired by the beautiful common kingfisher, also known as the Eurasian kingfisher. Kingfishers are ace fishers, as their name suggests, and are well-designed for super-fast dives into water, often appearing as a flash of turquoise across the water’s surface. They are mostly found perching in trees near waterways. This pattern captures an in-flight kingfisher mid-dive, showcasing its bright colors as they flash in the sun.
