The FiReControl Project was initiated by the department for communities and local government in March 2004 in the United Kingdom to integrate 46 stand-alone fire department control rooms into nine regional centers. The project aimed to replace the Fire and Rescue Services’ local control rooms across England with purpose-built regional control centers linked by a new IT system.
