Part V of this book provides an in-depth discussion of QoS considerations and designs for both MPLS and IPSec VPNs. MPLS VPN QoS design is examined from both the enterprise subscriber’s perspective, covering important considerations and designs for mapping into service-provider models, and also from the service provider’s perspective, including MPLS DiffServ Tunneling modes and MPLS Traffic Engineering (in brief). IPSec VPN designs are considered for both site-to-site scenarios and telecommuter scenarios.
