Chapter 7

Energy Analysis

Abstract

The analysis of energy efficiency needs to consider both energy quantity and quality. Examples are presented showing how efficiency is determined for various energy end uses including motors, heater sources, lamps, air conditioners, and others. Methods for electric load analysis are described.
