Abstract
Maintaining a satisfactory frequency regulation is a challenging task as more renewable resources are added to the power systems, which calls for new solutions to ensure the security and reliability of a power grid. Because of the fast response, the energy storage is becoming a very attractive means of providing regulation service so as to deal with a large amount of wind/solar generation.
