Systems design

Abstract

Environment in which the system operates needs to be defined in order to design a system that suits the environment. In a broader sense, environmental factors include all aspects of the world that are outside the boundary of the complex engineering system. In the design of a support solution, it is necessary to study the weak areas carefully and plan alternative actions to lessen their impact on plans within the solution. On the basis of assessment by an independent body, the engineering solution can be positioned on the chart. After considering the impact of the previous factors, changes to the supporting analysis and its conclusions, adjusting input until the support solution, and plans match the characteristics ...
