Chapter 5

Exploring Multiple-Exposure Tricks

Why shoot multiple exposures of the same subject? There are many tricks available when you shoot a series of images taken from the same vantage point. Such tricks include eliminating moving objects such as pedestrians and cars, reducing noise, creating artistic effects, rendering time-lapse video, and expanding dynamic range. None of these so-called tricks are possible in traditional photography because the results must be computed in Photoshop.
