2.6. Summary

In this chapter, we discussed the requirements for building a virtual application, which is an application that can access all corporate data from a single point. To accomplish this task, we employed a declarative environment that provided us with the ability to integrate individual applications in an isolated manner, but resulted in making each application's data available to the enterprise at large.
