Key database
This section describes the steps needed to create a key database and populate it
with certificates. WebSEAL needs this to communicate securely with clients and
back-end servers. While this example describes how to acquire the certificate
used for communication with a back-end server, you can also use this example to
acquire the certificate used for external communications.
1. Create a key database.
Start your GSKIT Graphical User Interface and select
Key Database File ->
New
. You will be presented with a box like that shown in Figure E-4.
