Bringing dimensions into alignment
The aim when working with the content maturity model is to bring all the dimensions into alignment at a stage where the organisation is effective. Typically an organisation aims for the enterprise stage as the first milestone in its plan for content maturity, and as part of a long-term information management strategy. The key to reducing stress in the organisation is not necessarily to improve one dimension over another, it is to reduce the differences between or dominance in specific dimensions.
