Each Activity Specification may be subject to one or more Activity Placements in an Address. For example, production of “acetylsalicylic acid” normally takes place at the Gigantic Corporation’s “Brooklyn Manufacturing Plant”.

Each Activity may be subject to one or more Activity Placements in an Address (either a physical one—a Facilityor a Virtual Address). For example, “Production of lot 253 of acetylsalicylic acid” took place on “June 24, 2004” on “Production line 3” at “Brooklyn Manufacturing Plant”.

Events may also be located at a particular Facility. Hence the arc across the relationships between Activity Placement and the two Activity… entity ...
