Ok, we have identified the skills required to do a job and the responsibilities that the employee will hold. The next task is to determine if a candidate does, in fact, have the necessary capabilities. Figure 13-5 shows that each Person may be holder of one or more Capabilities, each of which must be in either an Activity Specification or a Domain of Knowledge. That is, a Capability is the fact of a Person’s being able to do something—either demonstrating acquaintance with a Body of Knowledge or performing a Specified Activity (that is, an Activity Specification).
