About Communications

A company communicates with customers, prospects, and the public at large through various media: advertising, telephone calls, e-mails, mass mailings, and so forth. All of these media share an important characteristic: they all carry out Communication.

Figure 14-1 shows the entity class Communication. A Communication is defined as the passing of information among two or more parties.
