What Life is Made of
Every cell of every living organism consists of Proteins that are composed of compounds called Amino Acids. Here are the definitions of these:
· Amino Acid – “A group of nitrogenous organic compounds that serve as units of structure of the proteins and are essential to human metabolism.” “Any of a group of organic compounds containing both the carboxyl and amino groups, forming the basic constituents of proteins.”
