Geographic Locations and Facilities

In many applications, addresses are simply stored as one or more attributes in Party. As we’ve already seen, it is greatly beneficial to store them in their own entity class—and ultimately in their own table. Many systems have an important Address table.

The attributes of Facility shown in Figure 12-3, are representative:

·         Description

·         /Street Address

·        Apartment or Suite

·         /City

·         /State (The United States version of a Principal Country Division Default Name)

·         /ZIP Code (The United States version of Postal Region Postal Code)

·         /Country
