This chapter considers the entrepreneurial activities of cosplayers in the larger context of the family business literature. Very little research exists examining the economic ventures of cosplayers, and the research that does exist (e.g., Robles, 2021; Rouse & Salter, 2021) tends to view these ventures as separate and independent of each other.
