7Epilogue: Insights from Twenty Years of Teaching E&I
Our first article about E&I was published 20 years ago (Lima and Dolabela 2000). Since then, I have written a PhD dissertation about the potential of technology to support business education (Lima 2003; Lima et al. 2004) and several articles dealing directly or indirectly with this core subject of my research. Examples of related themes in my publications include: innovation ecosystems (Lima 2001; Laperche et al. 2019) and technology parks (Lima and Hastenreiter 2008; Lima et al. 2008), the use of case studies in business education (Lima and Fabiani 2014, 2016), entrepreneurial traits (Namaci et al. 2013), the use of Osterwalder’s Business Model Canvas in education (Lima and Baudier 2017; Lima et al. 2018), entrepreneurship teaching (Albertini et al. 2019) and innovation in smart cities or smart organizations (Appio et al. 2019; Lima 2020).

This final chapter summarizes these insights by discussing how the principles of Collaborative Interactivity have underpinned each one of the teaching strategies suggested throughout this book.
