Odds and ends

I just cleaned out my bag and found the items listed here. I take them for granted, but also know that they are good to have on hand:

• Smart phone

• Off-camera shoe cord (for the times my speedlights fail to connect)

• Lens cloths

• Gels for my speedlights in a variety of colors (to add color to walls or backgrounds in boring environments or to correct color when in mixed lighting situations).

• Rubber bands for gels that won’t stay on my flash on their own

• Notepad and pens

• Chapstick

• Granola bar

• Business cards

• Band-aids

• Whistle (for protection, although I’ve never had to use it, thankfully)
