Using Camera Match and CamPoint Helpers
Max has some nifty little tools to match any camera angle if
you just have to have some point of reference. If you look at
the photograph we applied to the background you may have
noticed the white square in the image. This is a perfectly
square piece of paper I placed on the asphalt as a reference for
the camera angle.
First, go to the Create panel and click on the Helpers but-
ton. Then click the drop-down box and select Camera Match.
This will allow you to create a CamPoint object. Create four
CamPoint objects in a perfect square. You’ll end up with the
